The GREEF ENERGY multi-functional converter combines several key functions into a single device, including AC-to-DC rectification specifically designed for permanent magnet (PM) generators, battery charging, DC-to-AC inversion, and an integrated energy management system. This versatility makes it suitable for various energy applications.

Equipped with a configurable dual LCD touchscreen, the converter offers an intuitive interface for easy monitoring and control. It leverages advanced converter technology to deliver stable voltage and frequency regulation for permanent magnet synchronous generators (PMSGs), ensuring a reliable and continuous power supply to connected loads.

Additionally, the GREEF ENERGY converter can be set up to operate in a grid-tied mode, enabling seamless interaction with the electric grid. In this mode, it supports grid charging functions, enhancing flexibility and efficiency in energy management.

EMS Smart Energy Management System

The EMS smart energy management system offers multiple configurable operating modes to suit a variety of energy needs. Users can choose between off-grid, grid-tied, and grid charging modes, allowing for flexible and efficient energy management in different scenarios.

Equipped with a double LCD smart touch screen display, the system provides an intuitive and user-friendly interface. This makes monitoring and controlling the system’s functions straightforward and convenient.

Advanced features include generator power curve tracking technology, which optimizes power generation based on the generator’s performance. Additionally, the system supports both AC and DC dual backup as auxiliary power supplies to enhance reliability.

The control technology for unbalanced loads ensures stable operation even under varying load conditions. Standard communication is supported via RS 485 Modbus RTU protocol, facilitating seamless integration with other devices.

Optional functions are also available to customize and expand the system’s capabilities. These include PMW dump load protection against over voltage and over speed, water gate motor control, and WiFi/LAN remote monitoring and control through a dedicated app.

The optimal rated voltage for the generator is 450 volts AC, with a start voltage requirement of at least 180 volts AC. Battery Input Data

All models utilize lithium-ion batteries, with customizable voltage ranges to suit different applications. The nominal battery voltage can range from 400 to 900 volts DC, based on customer specifications.

The maximum charging and discharging currents also differ among models, with current values spanning from 250 amperes up to 750 amperes depending on the unit. For example, the ACPCS-100kt has a max charging/discharging current of 250A, while the ACPCS-300kt supports up to 750A.

Output Side Parameters (Grid-Connected)

Regarding grid-connected operation, the rated charging and discharging power corresponds to the rated power for each model, ranging from 100 kW to 500 kW. The maximum charge and discharge power exceeds the rated value, ranging from 120 kW to 600 kW depending on the model.

The rated current for charge and discharge spans from 144 amps for the 100 kW model to 433 amps for the 300 kW option, with maximum currents reaching as high as 866 amps on the highest capacity model.

The rated grid voltage is fixed at 400 volts, and the permissible grid voltage varies between 300 and 460 volts. These models operate at a frequency of either 50 or 60 Hz, ensuring compatibility with international standards.

They maintain a low current total harmonic distortion rate of less than 3% at rated power, and support a power factor greater than 0.99, with an adjustable range from -1 to 1. Additionally, the units have an overload capacity of 1.2 times the nominal power, sustained continuously for up to one minute.
